During the third quarter of 2024, the city building games sector on the Android platform in Denmark demonstrated interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these top five apps showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

States Builder: Trade Empire by SayGames Ltd experienced fluctuating revenue, with a notable peak reaching around $142 in mid-July. Downloads started at 268 in early July and gradually decreased to 151 by the end of September. Weekly active users also saw a general decline, starting from 960 and ending at 770.

Land Builder, another title from SayGames Ltd, maintained relatively stable revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $39 in mid-September. Despite a spike in downloads to 258 mid-July, the numbers tapered to 153 by the end of September. Weekly active users peaked at 598 in late July, with numbers stabilizing around 480 by the quarter's end.

Global City: Building Games from MY.GAMES B.V. saw a significant revenue increase to $192 in late August. Downloads fluctuated, beginning at 239 and declining to 93 by the end of the quarter. Active users experienced a peak of 355 in mid-July, followed by a drop to 181 by late September.

Transport Tycoon Empire: City by Alda Games showed consistent revenue growth, reaching $189 by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 172 in early July to 98 at the quarter's close. Weekly active users declined from 334 to 259 over the same period.

Finally, SimCity BuildIt from ELECTRONIC ARTS topped the revenue charts, peaking at $697 in late July. Despite lower download numbers, ranging from 94 to 93, it maintained strong engagement with active users peaking at 1.4K in late September.
